#GivingTuesday – Give the gift of fitness to someone with special needs!

The Bethany Leapley Autism Spectrum Disorder Charity Fund

The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Fitness Center in Orange, Connecticut is a facility designed specifically to provide a safe, comfortable and structured environment for empowering individuals with ASD to improve their level of physical fitness.

All funds collected will be utilized to award scholarships to children and adults for the ASD Fitness Center.

The charity is named in honor of Bethany Leapley, who fought a 25 year battle against breast cancer with courage, strength and dignity. Bethany, described by her daughter as, “the strongest person I ever met”, has a grandson with ASD. She had a special place in her heart for him and wished for him to grow into a happy and fulfilled adult. The ASD Fitness Center will provide an opportunity for her grandson to translate his talent for mentoring others on the Autism Spectrum into a career.
